Racing History
As one of the oldest yacht clubs in the United States, we are proud of our distinguished racing and boating history. Our first organized regatta was held in July 1877 and over the years we have earned a reputation for hosting world-class regattas.
Our accomplished sailors and power boaters have won hundreds of championships and awards, including appearances in local, national, and world events including the Olympic games. The Club is proud to host a world-class junior sailing program, where numerous generations have developed a passion for racing and love of the water.
